What is a Spam?
Yes, it is a type of luncheon meat but we are not after that. Spam is a post containing unnecessary/off topic words or images in a thread or forum. By unnecessary, I mean they do not contribute to the actual topic of the thread. So, what are spam posts? Here are some of the categories that constitute spamming.
Emoticon/Reaction Reply
These are just replies that only contains emoticons.
“:)”
“HAHAHAHAHAHA”
“LoL”
Fake Enforcer Posts a.k.a. “Feeling Moderator" Posts
These are posts that scold a certain player or person that he or she has broken the rules of the forums. Sometimes, they post insanely huge images that is totally unrelated to the topic at hand. Face it, you are not a moderator, simply just report the post and wait for moderator action. No need to spam.
Examples:
“spammer ka”
“oi bawal flaming”
“[insert huge image here that tells people to stop spamming]”
Off topic replies
These are posts that are severely off the topic. For example, you are talking about some quest then suddenly the topic changes to your own summer vacation. Do this and you’ll earn some warning points.
Be informed. Ignorance of the law excuses NO ONE.
